good area’s and business oppertunities in new zealand?

ok every body come on you gotta help me out ,i’m hoping to move out to new zealand on a business visa, so me and my wife can either buy or set up a small business for ourselves, nothing flash or big , something to just make a good living, a cafe ,lunch bar ,or something like that, any does or dont’s or places to avoid, iv’e worked in new zealand several times ,but obviously have not been everywhere, be great to hear from anybody ,been a slaughterman /shearer all my working life, if thats any help
