On the Food Network’s Road Tested program (Seattle episode), I saw a pie made by the Alaska Silk Pie Company. It’s called Cafe Diablo Pie. It has 7 layers, chocolate and white chocolate amongst others, made with different spices like cloves and liqueurs and a crust of nuts with caramel. It’s made in a tall springform pan.
Anyone figured out a copy recipe?

I am not a salad person but once I tasted Cafe Express’s greek salad, I fell in love. I would eat this salad daily if I could figure out the recipe. I know that it has lemon juice and olive oil because I can taste it. I hope someone can help me out.

I work at a cafe I’m part owner of and I bake once a week, what are some good, sell-able, quick pastries? I only have a few hours (5 or 6 tops) to knock out about 6 different projects, so I’m looking for some easy, tasty things to sell that will look pretty enough to sell without taking a whole lot of time.
Currently I make scones, brownies, cakes, pies, specialty cookies, strawberry oatmeal bars, basic vegan chocolate cake, banana bread, etc.
It looks like a lot when I write it all down (I’m omitting some things), but I get bored (and so do customers) if it’s the same things every week.
What would you eat if you were jonesing for a baked good??
