Hidden Network Group..what is that ?

after a second i needed some softwere that r in pc10 i tried to open it as unusual (view workgroup computers from My Network Places ) BUT i didn’t find any pc only me then i press up (if there r many workgruop u will see all of them)
BUT i didn’t find any thing i found out that the work group name is “STAR” so i setup my network gruop to “STAR” and saw all of 25 pc BUT still can’t see the the star workgruop icon
What i need to know is how did the onwer of the cafee did that????? (hidded the icon of workgruop )
by the way i asked him but he didsn’t tell me


Its networking 101, basic security. The shares are set by the Admin, the Privileges and Access points are better this way and are not sio prone to be corrupted by a User.
